I recently stayed at a budget hotel near the Schalke 04 Arena, and I must say, the location was superb. It was just a short 20-minute walk to the stadium, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Whether I wanted a quick bite at the Burger King or indulged in Chinese cuisine at the next door restaurant, I was spoiled for choice. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful, and the room, although small, was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered was adequate and a good value for the price.

I was disappointed to find that there was no air conditioning or fans in the room, which made it very uncomfortable during the unusually hot weather.

Unfortunately no curtains in the bathroom only mosaic windows. So one is not completely unobserved then.

It's just a short tram ride away and the entrance is easy to find, making it perfect for concert-goers. The staff members are friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests with check-in and providing good instructions for getting to the hotel from the train station. The rooms are simple but clean, and the breakfast offers a wide selection of both cold and cooked dishes, making it a great start to the day.

All was fine, no complaints whatsoever.

It was a great location for dinner.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I enjoyed the great price and the really good breakfast. The hotel is located a suitable distance from key attractions and easy access to public transport. , I appreciate the fact that the staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The heating system in our room was inadequate, and the room was quite cold. our room wasn't thoroughly cleaned upon check-in and required extra tidying up.

After the renovation the hotel is really unbeatable in this price range! I will definitely come back! The rooms are clean and functionally well furnished! The whole staff is very friendly and helpful!

Very nice staff. Late arrival and later departure possible without any problems. Rooms very nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Nice big shower. Breakfast was also good and sufficient.

Very close to the football ground, staff very friendly. The restaurant attached was very good as was the food. If I visit again I would stay here

Great view of the surrounding area including nearby attraction. Super easy to get to main roads.

Bathroom was not properly cleaned and linen was stained. Very noisy from other guests coming in late.

I stayed hereb because I left it too late to find anything in Essen for a Classic car show. The hotel was fine, no frills and a shared bathroom, which certainly wouldn't normally be my choice but the bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait. The hotels is obviously used by contractors and there was noise from 05.50 (but quiet from c. 22.00. Breakfast was fine, cold but completely adequate.
